Built in the early 17th century by Jesuit priests, passed down as a working farm across the generations, and meticulously restored by master craftsmen, Domaine Macky is one of the oldest residences in the Vosges.

Spanning 350 m², the house welcomes up to 11 guests — families, groups of friends, or private and professional gatherings — in a setting of unspoilt nature: forests and trails in summer, blazing colours in autumn, snow in winter, blossoms in spring.

Sleep peacefully The five bedrooms

Domaine Macky has five bedrooms to accommodate up to 11 people. The first bedroom has a 160x200 cm double bed, the second a 120x190 cm single bed, the third a 160x200 cm double bed, the fourth a 140x200 cm double bed, and the fifth a 140x200 cm double bed. A sofa bed, which can accommodate two additional people, is available subject to availability. Each bedroom is unique, prepared in advance of your arrival, and offers you refined comfort in a setting full of character.

Everything for your comfort The four bathrooms

Three of the five bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom with shower. A shared bathroom with toilet is located upstairs; a separate toilet is also available on the ground floor. The house is equipped with a full laundry room: washing machine, dryer, iron, and ironing board. Towels and toiletries—shower gel, shampoo, and soap—are provided for each stay.

Authentic and friendly Shared spaces

The common areas of Domaine Macky naturally invite gatherings. The living room and dining room—with its large hunting table, piano, and wood-burning stove—offer a warm setting for group evenings.

The high ceilings in the main section add to the character of the place, where antiques and modern amenities coexist elegantly.

Prepare your wonderful meals The equipped kitchen

You'll be charmed by the antique built-in cabinets, which add a certain cachet to the kitchen of our prestigious place near Gérardmer.

The kitchen is fully equipped, with everything you need: a refrigerator, a double oven, a gas stove, a coffee maker, a dishwasher, and more.

In nice weather, you can gather on the terrace and prepare some grilled food using the barbecue.

A living nature The one-hectare estate

The estate spans one hectare of unspoiled nature, ready to be explored on foot right from the house. A stream, two old wells, and a large chicken coop each tell their own story.

The pond—populated with fish and occasionally visited by ducks—has a relaxation area along its edge, perfect for a peaceful break.

Three terraces offer opportunities to enjoy the outdoors at different times of day and in different light.
